Rotary Club Sofia International 6th Annual Puppet Theater Trip for Kids from Social Homes (+GAL)

On Saturday, December 8, members of Rotary Club Sofia International and of Rotaract Club Sofia Internationl, along with friends, organized and supported a day out for 75 children from all the social homes in Sofia. The day began with a breakfast kindly donated by McDonald’s on Slaveikov Square, followed by a walk to the puppet theater on Gurko Street, where all the children thoroughly enjoyed “The 3 Piglets” show. Afterwards, they all received a gift bag of goodies kindly donated by Nestle, Vivacom and RC Sofia International. After receiving the bags with presents, the children walked happily back to the buses escorted by the local police who have been supervising the kids during entire event. The cost of the puppet theater tickets and the transportation from and to the homes were covered by the DONATIONS program of RC Sofia International.

Rotary Club Sofia International would like to thank all the companies which supported the event for a sixth consecutive year. The members of the club would also would like to extend their gratitude to the Sofia Municipality and the Ministry of Internal Affairs for their support.
