Today Rotary Club Sofia International held its 6th meeting for the Rotarian year 2012-2013. The meeting’s agenda focused on the three projects that are to be carried out this year – the Rotary Whisky Tasting Evening, the Rotary Wine Tasting Evening and the Rotary Cocktail Tasting Evening. The meeting continued with a discussion of the idea to have a big-size project at the end of the current Rotarian year which will involve many members, their families and guests.

Consequently our friend Jorg Schenk informed the club about his visit to Berlin and his acquaintance with two Rotary clubs in Berlin – the Rotary Club Berlin Gendarmenmark and the Rotary Club Berlin International.

Our friend Margaret Robinson presented what her foundation has been doing in the city of Vratza (Bulgaria) for the past 1 year and how she has been contributing in the efforts to help the local community to take the homeless dogs out of the streets.
