RCSI Celebrated the Beginning of the New Rotarian Year 2012-2013 with RC Sofia Tangra (+GAL)

On Thursday, June 28, 2012, at a special gala dinner, Rotary Club Sofia International celebrated the end of the 2011-2012 and the beginning of the 2012-2013 Rotarian year. The gala dinner was initiated together with Rotary Club Sofia Tangra and gathered many members of both clubs, Rotaract & Interact members, as well as guests. The agenda for the evening included the announcement of the laureate of Slavyanodeyatel 2012 award, the presentation of a Certificate of Gratitude to RCSI for a donation, a multimedia presentation of luxury gifts by ZOGRAFOV & CO, and was followed by the official handover ceremony of old and new boards of the hosting clubs.

Rotary Club Sofia International presented a short music video with a compilation of photos of its activities from the previous Rotarian year (can be seen further in this post). Rotary Club Sofia Tangra presented their biggest project that deals with the screening for Prostate Cancer diseases. The new presidents of both clubs received their credentials – for RC Sofia Tangra – Mr. Dimitar Maslarski, for RC Sofia International – Mr. Hans Promberger. Later the boards of both clubs were presented. The The event was held in Rila Hotel and concluded with a DJ party specially provided for the event.
