Rotary Club Sofia International Awards a Scientists from the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences

Today the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences presented awards to scientists who made substantial impact through their work for the past 12 months. The initiative was started 6 years ago by the Institute of Plant Physiology and now after the unification with the Institute of Plant Genetics, it got more popular and with a bigger award fund. The awards were again provided by the Rotarian community. The awarding parties were Rotary Club Sofia International, Rotary Club Sofia Center, Rotary Club Sofia Sredets, Rotary Club Blagoevgrad, Rotary Club Blagoevgrad Center. Also a substantial donation was made by our friend and member Dimiter Mandradjiev, who awarded, through his company, one Bulgarian scientist with a personal website.

The initiative was organized by the Institute of Plant Physiology and Genetics under the supervision of its Director and member of RC Sofia International prof. Snezhana Doncheva.
