(Oct 23) Once Again RC Sofia International Organized a Successful Fundraising Event

On 23 October 2015, the president of RC Sofia International, Jörg Schenk, welcomed more than 50 guests at Sofia’s “Bitburger Keller” to a Rotarian “Oktoberfest”. With brass music, Bavarian food and German beer members and friends of RC Sofia International along with their guests from Bulgaria, France, the Netherlands, Iceland and Germany felt perfectly entertained. With lively conversation and dancing to the music of the “Rhythm Boys” the party lasted until well into the night.

Thanks to the overwhelming generosity of those present, who donated more than 1,000 BGN at a spontaneously organized collection. With the collected funds, the club is able to take another major step towards the realization of its project to support the kids from the Association “Children with Onco-Hematological Diseases”.
