(Oct 10) Seminar: Effective Public Relations, Positive Public Image and Awareness of Rotary (+GAL)

On 10 October 2015 in Arbanassi, Veliko Turnovo the seminar Effective Public Relations, Positive Public Image and Awareness of Rotary was held. Rotary Club Sofia International was presented with  2 delegates – Ms. Ani Hristova and Ms. Yanitza Sirakova.

Special guests of the event was the Public Image Coordinator for Rotary International Zone 20B Günes Ertas, who presented good practices from his work. He surprised all the participants with a publication about the seminar only minutes after it was officially closed on the web site of Zone 20B – https://rotaryzone20b.shutterfly.com.

Jane Hammond, editor of the Rotary London Magazine, District 1130, was also a guest at the Seminar.

The presenters were:
Yuri Prodanov, Chairman of the District 2482 Public Relations Committee;
Paola Hussein, Editor Culture and Animation, 24 Hours newspaper;
Elena Braykova, Senior Account Manager and Relations with Institutions in United Partners.
The practical part of the seminar – Leadership and Communication – was led by:
Eli Gerganova, Chairman of the National Council for Self-Regulation and former General Director of Diageo;
Iva Grigorova, Account Manager at United Partners and member of the District 2482 Public Relations Committee;
Stoyanka Georgieva, Chairman of the District 2482 Rotary Information Committee;
Nasko Nachev, PDG, publisher of the Rotary Balkans magazine.

The closing part of the Seminar was sharing of good practices by the participants. Rotary Club Sofia International presented the Global Grand Project with District 1100 for a Vocational training for kids from protected homes. The club also presented the main project for this Rotarian year – a van for the kids of the Children with Onco-Hematological Diseases Association.

The official part was followed by a Gala Dinner kindly supported by Britos beer and wine from Marvin.
