(Nov 23) Presentation by the President of Rotaract Sofia International at a Regular Meeting of Rotary Club Sofia International (+GAL)

Rotary Club Sofia International held its regular meeting on 23 November 2016 in Hilton Sofia. We were happy to host a number of guests, including Mr. Stephan Reiter – the General Manager of our hosts Hilton Sofia, Ms. Panagiota Angelopoulou – Past President of Rotaract Sofia International, Mr. Alp Bolcal – President of Rotaract Sofia International, Mrs. Tania Benisheva, Mrs. Ute Ehenberg, Mr. Nedy John Cross, and Mr. Grant Dale.

Mr. Alp Bolcal presented a project that his club, Rotaract Sofia International is organizing for the World AIDS day 2016. To raise awareness, the Rotaractors are planning to give away free condoms in a so called “Condomize” Campaign. The board of Rotary Club Sofia International decided to support financially that project. In order to make it even bigger, our Rotaractors need contacts with companies producers or importers of condoms. You can contact us at info@rc-si.org should you happen to have such contacts.

Additionally the upcoming club elections were once again discussed. These will be on  14 December 2016 at a closed meeting of the club.

Our Christmas Party in La Prima Osteria on 21 December 2016 form 19:30 is also approaching and it is time to reserve your place now.  Get in touch with us at info@rc-si.org. 

The club decided to not have a meeting on 28 December 2016 and on 4 January 2107.
