(May 9) Night Sky with Whisky and Cigars at the Kempinski in Sofia (+GAL)

Rotary Club Sofia International is proud to announce that the 4th Annual Whisky Tasting Charity Night (the 2014 “Whisky & Cigar Partnership Evening”) was a memorable experience and a success in terms of funds raised. The event was held on Friday, 09 May, 2014 at Kempinski Hotel Zografski Sofia and gathered more than 120 guests – Rotarians, Rotaractors, and many friends of Rotary. The event’s sponsors have prepared different whisky brands, chocolate, juices, water for the guests. The hosts also hosted an auction and a raffle.

The event raised 1,300 BGN for two noble causes – for a Vocational Training for youngsters leaving the institutions, who are part of the House of Opportunity Program of FSCI (Foundation for Social Change and Inclusion), the prime agency of The Trussell Trust in Bulgaria, and for support of Eyes On Four Paws – the Bulgarian school for guide dogs. These initiatives are part of the DONATIONS Program of the of RC Sofia International – a program which has managed to deliver goods, services and products for more than 2,1 mln. BGN for the past 8 years to the communities in need.
