(Jul 6) Handover Ceremony and New Member Acceptance (+GAL)

On 7 July 2016 in the garden of Hilton Sofia, Rotary Club Sofia International held its first regular meeting for the 2016-2017 Rotary Year. The main event during the meeting was the handover of the President’s Chain from Jörg Schenk to Horst Stüer. All the members of the club would like to wish our new President a successful year ahead. We will work together with him to make this Rotarian year yet another successful year in the history of the club.

Later on President Stüer pinned up the Rotary pin to our newest member Cris Biemond. We would like to wish Cris to Serve Above Self and be a valuable member of our club.

After the official part, the fellowship continued in a nearby bar with discussion on the future projects of the club. Stay tuned for many interesting initiatives and join us during the summer for our informal meetings where we will continue fine tuning our program for 2016-2017 Rotarian Year.
