(Dec 9) H.E. Detlef Lingeman, Ambassador of Germany to Bulgaria Presentation at a Regular Meeting of RC Sofia International (+GAL)
On 9 December 2015, H.E. Detlef Lingeman, the Ambassador of Germany to Bulgaria was an honorary guest and a presenter at a regular meeting of the club. H.E. talked about the bilateral relations between Bulgaria and Germany and presented his hindsight on how these could further strengthen the friendship between the two countries. The expose was followed by a lively question and answer session, which touched upon all the aspects of the current events.
The meeting later continued with introduction of the two newest members of RC Sofia International – Mr. Tony Ripley, a Rotarian and a PHF from Minesotta and Mr. Alberto Rossi a Rotarian and a PHF +1 form Italy, both transferring their membership to our club. They were warmly welcomed by the members and guests and made feel at home.
After that the fellows who attended the Puppet Theater event in Yakimovo, once again successfully organized by our friend and member Dr. Snejana Doncheva shared their impressions of the day.
The fellowship continued with discussions and getting to know the numerous new guests who attended the meeting.
