(Apr 20) RC Sofia International Co-wins 3rd Place at an Annual Football Tournament (+GAL)
Members of Rotary Club Sofia International took part in the annual football tournament hosted by Rotary Club Sofia Vitosha and Rotaract Club Sofia Vitosha. The tournament was held on a sunny Saturday at Academic Stadium in Sofia. The tournament gathered many Rotarians, Rotaractors and Interactors from most of the Sofia Rotary clubs and made this event a truly Rotarian initiative. Every team had 6 players + 1 goalkeeper. After having 2 groups formed from 4 teams each, every group qualified 2 teams to the semi-finals. In the Final match there were the teams of Rotaract Club Sofia Balkan (a real-professional football team in C division of Sofia) and the team of Interact Club Sofia Vitosha at Italian Lyceum. CHAMPION FOR 2013 of the ROTARY ANNUAL FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT of Rotary Club Sofia Vitosha and Rotaract Club Sofia Vitosha is the team of Interact Club Sofia Vitosha at Italian Lyceum. The members of Rotary Club Sofia International who participated in the event were Mr. Dimiter Mandradjiev and Ms. Ani Hristova. The team of Rotary Club Sofia Vitosha qualified 3rd with the goalkeeper, Mr. Dimiter Mandradjiev.
