(5 April) Visit of District Governior – Dimitar Dimitrov and Acceptance of a New Member (+GAL)

On 5 April 2017 he District Governor (DG) of D-2482 Bulgaria, Dr. Dimitar Dimitrov visited Rotary club Sofia International at a regular meeting of the club in Hilton Sofia. The meeting was attended by numerous members and regular guest, as well as, by our young friends form Rotaract Sofia International and friends from Rotaract club from Turkey.

DG Dr. Dimitar Dimitrov introduced himself and presented the goals of D-2482 and mainly support and strengthen the clubs, focus on and increase of the humanitarian services, enhance the public image and awareness.

After the presentation by the DG we proceeded with the acceptance of Dr. Wolf Harlfinger as a member of Rotary Club Sofia International. He had the honor to receive his Rotary pin and first greetings and wishes for a long and successful service by the DG Dr. Dimitrov himself.

Our friends Enrico and Plamen Kertev updated us on the preparation of the lecture of President Plevneliev, which will be held on 27 April in Hilton Sofia.

After the official part of the meeting, the fellowship continued in the lobby lounge.
