(31 May) Presentation by Mr. Grant Dale at a Regular Meeting of Rotary Club Sofia Interntional (+GAL)

On 31 May 2017 Rotary Club Sofia International held its regular meeting in Hilton Sofia. The President Elect Ms. Ani Hristova chaired the meeting.

The room was crowded with members and guests. We had the pleasure to welcome Mrs. Inna Badan and Mr. Claude Badan from the newest club in Astana – Astana International Rotary Club (AIRS). We also welcomed Hans Derlagen, Maria Miteva, Vasil Garev, and our regular guests Thomas and Jo Van.

Ani informed the that the money collected at Wine It! Event were used for purchasing and installing an air conditioner in Blagoveshtenie Day Center, as originally planned. We will be visiting the the center soon.

We are planning our next yearly whiskey evening – Blend It! 2017. It will be in Bodega on 6, “Tzar Asen” Str. We will post more information very soon.

The meeting continued with Ani sharing a number of invitations by other Rotary clubs and from friends of our Rotary Club Sofia International.

The Highlight of the meeting was the presentation by our member Grant Dale. He spoke on the following topic: “The Role of CCTV in an Ever Changing Risk Management Portfolio”. He started by briefly summarizing his professional biography and continued with discussing the role of CCTV in today’s security management. The presentation was followed by a lively question and answer session. After the official part the members and guests enjoyed drinks in the informal ambiance of the lobby bar.
