(27 April) Lecture by the President of Republic of Bulgaria Rosen Plevneliev about Bulgaria and the New Geopolitical Realities in the World (+GAL)

Rotary Club Sofia International organized a charity event at Hilton Sofia on 27 April, 2017.

The beneficiaries of the funds raised at the event will be the young people in the village of Doganovo, for their vocational training in order to be able to find jobs and support themselves once they leave the institution. Mrs. Olga Lenkova, Director Home for Children Deprived of Parental Care in Doganovo also was our guest.

The lecture of Mr. Rosen Plevneliev was on the topic: Bulgaria and The New Geopolitical Realities. In the following question and answer session, as well as at the subsequent reception, all the participants personally had the opportunity to ask questions about the global political events of the day.

Mr. Plevneliev took the time to answer all the questions in detail. Many participants were enthusiastic about the stories of Mr. Plevneliev and his meeting with personalities of the international economic and political elite.

The culinary preparations for this event were taken by Hilton Sofia, however the young trainees from the Social Enterprise HOPe Restaurant had the chance to learn first hand from the culinary team of the hotel by helping in the preparation of the food.
