(10-12 March) Presidents Elect Training Seminar (PETS) 2017 of District 2482 in Tryavna (+GAL) (+VID)

The seminar for Presidents Elect is one of the most important events in the calendar of the Rotary year. This year it was held in Tryavna and the organizers were Rotary Club of Gabrovo. At the seminar, District Governior-Elect Emil Kotsev presented highlights of the tasks of Rotary International for the upcoming activities during 2017-2018 Rotarian year. Rotary Club Gabrovo had a Wonderful initiative – Masquerade (Carnaval). More, than 300 Rotarians showed their artistic and creative talents.

Rotary Club Sofia International participants in PETS were:
President-Elect: Ms. Ani Hristova;
Secretary-Elect: Mr. Plamen Kertev;
Rotary Foundation: Ms. Slavena Savkova, Mr. Jörg Schenk, Mr. Michail Sougarev who also was a guest lecturer at the Grant Management Seminar (check the videos – Part 1, Part 2, Part 3);                              
Treasurer: Mr. Plamel Lazarov;
Also one of our newest members from Holland – Mr. Cris Biemond attended all of the sessions. Big applause for his efforts to learn about Rotary, even in Bulgarian language.
Ms. Elena Ivanova and Mr. Alberto Staykov also joined us. They prepared the Certificates of Appreciation for our wonderful sponsors of Wine It! 2017 Event.
