Rotary Club Sofia International 2nd Annual Puppet Theater Trip for Kids from Social Homes

Rotary Club Sofia International brought 115 children from eight social care homes in Sofia to a puppet theater show of Jack and the Beanstalk on 13 December, 2008.

Before the play at the puppet theater on Gurko Street in Sofia, the children and their teachers had breakfast at McDonald’s. This is the second year that this Sofia Rotary club has organized such an event, which was made even more merry thanks to support from Coca-Cola, McDonald’s, Hallmark Tickets and Nestle.

The day following the show, clothing items, toys, books and financial donations that had been collected with the participation of Private School Svetlina, High School 26 Yordan Yovkov and High School 88 Dimitar Popnikolov were donated to the children’s social care homes.
