(Oct 19) Rotary International Food Day – Delicious and Successful Charity Event (+GAL) (+VID)
Rotary Club Sofia International successfully carried out its 2nd Rotary International Food Day hosted by Kempinski Hotel Zografsky Sofia. The event was supported by a massive number of sponsors and welcomed many guests. The food for the event was provided by 15 restaurants among which were:
- American Restaurant Saloon – Wild West Taco and salads,
- Happy Sushi – Japanese cuisine – Sushi ,
- Panorama Restaurant – International cuisine,
- Lozenets – Bulgarian cuisine,
- Captain Cook – Fish food,
- Morski Sviat – Fish food,
- Vi Venda – Meat,
- Coline Toscana – Italian cuisine,
- Cult Gourmet Catering,
- Candy Club – French cuisine,
- L’Instant – French restaurant
The Olympic team of Bulgarian Cooks formed two teams who performed show cooking, the products for this were provided by Kempinski Hotel Zografski Sofia.
Additionally:
- Aroniada provided healthy drinks for appetizer and digestive.,
- 1 Meter Chocolate provided chocolate for all the guests of the event.
- Saloon Mineral Boutique Water provided water,
- Aya Nuts (Vkusna Yadka) provided nuts from its new factory,
- RCSI members specially prepared home-made desserts and bread for all guests.
The Chefs supporting the event included:
- Andre Tokev, Executive Chef of Hilton Sofia and President of Bulgarian Association of Profession Chefs,
- Ivan Manchev, Chef and Owner, Cactus Restaurants,
- Dimo Dimov, Executive Chef and Owner of Cult Gourmet Catering,
- Ilian Alexsandrov, Executive Chef – tehnologist Fancy restaurants,
- Stanisalv Kotev, Executive Chef at hotel Рила Borovetc.
Kids were entertained by a Pirate in the kid’s corner, kindly provided by Kempinski Hotel Zografski Sofia.
