(June 7-9) RC Sofia International with a Delegate at the Annual Convention of District 2482 (+GAL)

Our friend and member Mr. Dimiter Mandradjiev was a delegate of Rotary Club Sofia International at the annual convention of District 2482, Rotary Bulgaria which was held in the beautiful and old city of Shumen. The event gathered nearly 200 Rotary members and partners for a weekend of cultural, educational and decision making panels. At the decision making panel 72 clubs out of total 87 clubs were present and had the right to take decisions for the 2014-2015 Rotarian year. RC Sofia International proposed increased funding for the activities of Rotaract and Interact, however the decision did not gather enough votes to pass, with most of the other clubs abstained from voting. The convention also elected the new District-Governor Nominee for 2015-2016 Rotarian year, Mrs. Nina Miteva from Rotary Club Pleven Center.
