(Jun 18) RC Sofia International Celebrated the Beginning of the New Rotarian Year 2013-2014 with RC Sofia Tangra (+GAL)

On Tuesday, June 18, 2013, at a special gala dinner, Rotary Club Sofia International celebrated the end of the 2012-2013 and the beginning of the 2013-2014 Rotarian year. The gala dinner was initiated together with Rotary Club Sofia Tangra and gathered many members of both clubs, Rotaract & Interact members, as well as guests. The agenda for the evening included the announcement of the laureates of Slavyanodeyatel 2013 award and was followed by the official handover ceremony of old and new boards of the hosting clubs.

Rotary Club Sofia International presented a short video with a compilation of photos of its activities from the previous Rotarian year.

Rotary Club Sofia Tangra presented their next project that deals with the screening for diabetes. The new presidents of both clubs received their credentials – for RC Sofia International – Mr. Michail Sougarev, for RC Sofia Tangra – Mr. Zdravko Kamenov. The The event was held in Rila Hotel and concluded with a DJ party specially provided for the event.
