(Dec 7) Rotary Club Sofia International 7th Annual Puppet Theater Trip for Kids from Social Homes (+GAL)

On Saturday, December 7, members of Rotary Club Sofia International, along with friends, organized and supported a day out for 50 children from social homes in Sofia. The day began with a breakfast kindly donated by McDonald’s Bulgaria. The breakfast was in the restaurant on Slaveikov Square. It was followed by a walk to the puppet theater on Gurko Street, where all the children thoroughly enjoyed the “Three Little Pigs” show. Afterwards, they all received a gift bag of goodies kindly donated by Si-7 Commercial Ltd. and RC Sofia International. After receiving the bags with presents, the children walked happily back to the buses escorted by the local police who have been supervising the kids during the entire event. The cost of the puppet theater tickets and the transportation from and to the homes were covered by the DONATIONS program of RC Sofia International.

Rotary Club Sofia International would like to thank all the companies which supported the event for a seventh consecutive year. The members of the club would also would like to extend their gratitude to the Sofia Municipality and the Ministry of Internal Affairs for their support.
