(22 Oct) Training Seminar for New Rotarians (+GAL)

On 22 October 2022, Ms. Ani Hristova, Past President of Rotary Club Sofia International and Ms. Nevena Ivanova, President of Rotaract Club Sofia International arrived in the beautiful city Haskovo to attend the Training Seminar for New Rotarians.

The day started with the official inauguration of the Rotary Corner for Lovers – the latest project of Rotary Club Haskovo. Later on, the program continued planting of trees in the Kenana Park at the Alley of Rotary. After that the seminar was officially opened. It started with welcome words by Mrs. Hristina Hubenova, President of Rotary Club Haskovo, Mrs. Violina Kostova, District Governor of Rotary Bulgaria and District 2482, followed by Mr. Bane Randjelovic, Regional Rotary Coordinator of Rotary Region 25. Our Ms. Nevena Ivanova, President of Rotaract Club Sofia International also was a lecturer at the seminar.

The evening continued with the official dinner, the motto for which was the 27th birthday of Rotary Club Haskovo, the hosts of the seminar.

The program for the following day was also intense. It started with a visit to the Thracian tomb in Aleksandrovo, dated at early 4th century BC. A visit to the Church of the Assumption in Uzundzhovo was next on the agenda. Later a stop in the town of Harmanli followed by dinner.
