(Sep 30) Presentation by Mrs. H. E. Guro Katharina Helwig Vikør, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Norway (+GAL)
On 30 September 2015 at the regular meeting of Rotary Club Sofia International we had the pleasure and honor to host Mrs. H. E. Guro Katharina Helwig Vikør Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Bulgaria of the Kingdom of Norway. She presented on the topics of Norway and the EU and the EEA and Norway Grants. The presentation by H.E. was followed by a lively question and answer session.

At the meeting apart from the regular guests of the club we also welcomed: Mr. Ivan Tenev – Adviser Cultural and Political Affairs Royal Norwegian Embassy; Mr. Akihiro Yamamoto a member of Rotary Club Osaka; Mr. Petko Slavov a coordinator of the Noh drama performances for the Days of Japanese Culture in Bulgaria; Mr. Michael Humphreys a member of Rotary Club Bruxelles Vesale; Mr. Roger Ward a member of Rotary Club of Monmouth and a Project lead for the Vocational Training Global Grant Project.
Our Rotarian friend form D-1100, Roger Ward, updated the members and guest on the progress of the Vocational Training Global Grant Project and outlined the next steps towards the successful realization of the project. Already in the pipeline are similar projects in 6 other countries, where the know-how from Bulgaria will be applied.

The meeting continued with administrative agenda and announcements and was then followed by fellowship till late in the evening.
