(Oct 24) Friends from Turkey Visit RCSI’s Regular Meeting (+GAL)

Today Rotary Club Sofia International had the pleasure to host friends from Turkey – one Rotary member and one Rotaract member from the family of Rotary Club Istanbul Caddebostan (D2420). They attended the regular meeting of RCSI at which several announcements were made. The initiatives of the club were presented with an agreed timeline. A joint meeting with Rotary Club Sofia Balkan to be held on Nov 13, 2012 at Central Hotel Forum at 19:00 with guest speaker Mr. Georgi Prohasky – leading Bulgarian economist was also announced.

At the meeting it was agreed that a new Rotaract club will be formed by Rotary Club Sofia International – a second Rotaract club in the RCSI family. The new Rotaract Club Sofia International will be the first university based club in Sofia. There are already more than 25 members of this new club. The club has started its preliminary meetings on Nov 23, 2012 and within the next several months hopes to complete the necessary procedures to become part of the Rotary Club Sofia International family.
