(Oct 23) RC Sofia International Plans the Club’s Activities for the Next Two Months (+GAL)

Rotary Club Sofia International met today to announce the results from the highly successful Rotary International Food Day. Thanks to all who supported this initiative and helped us raise a little bit more than 1,300 BGN. he funds raised on the event will go for DONATIONS program of RC Sofia International and more specifically for a project for the support of classical music on a school level, as well as, for free eye checks of people in disadvantaged social standing,s those who need glasses will receive a pair.

The agenda of the club for the next two months till the New Year;s Eve were also discussed and agreed upon on this meeting.

Our member and friend, Mr. Gerd Ruge informed the members and guests gathered for this regular meeting that he had the pleasure to attend a meeting of Rotary Club Amrum, where he was also honored to be a guest-presenter on the topic of Kempinski Hotels’ History.

– 6 November – First meeting in KEMPINSKI – new member acceptance and a presentation by Dr. Julia Nikolova, PHF;

– 13 November – TBC, Presentation by H.E. M. Jamshaid Iftikhar, Ambassador of Pakistan;
– 20 November – TBC, Presentation by Ivo Indjev;
– 23 November – Team Building of the clubs from Sofia International Family in Meridian 22 School, more details soon;
– 27 November – TBC, Presentation by the writer Georgi Velev;

– 4 December – Regular Meeting;
– 7 December – Puppet Theater Trip, more details to be announced;
– 11 December – Christmas Bash of RC Sofia International in Raketa Rakia Bar;
– 18 December – Elections for President Elect 2015/2016 and Board Members 2014/2015, more details to be announced.
