(Mar 23) New Member Acceptance and a Presentation “Democratic School – an Alternative School Project” (+GAL)

On 23 March 2016 Rotary Club Sofia International held a regular meeting and accepted our newest member – Mr. Wolfgang Jahn. Members of the club would like to wish Wolfgang all the best and welcome.

A number of topics were discussed during the meeting – the upcoming project of the club, the idea for a common project of all the Sofia clubs, the impressions from the Presidents Elect Training Seminar in Plovdiv. Next Rotarian year – 2016/2017 – Rotary Club Sofia International will have 5 members in District 2482 Committees, including a Chairman of the Rotary Fellowship Committee:
Rotary Fellowships – Snejana Doncheva – Chairman;
Strategic Planning – Ilian Madjarov – member;
Community Service – Ani Hristova – member;
Rotary Foundation – Hristina Malchevska, Michail Sougarev – members.

Later on we had a presentation by Denitsa Iltcheva on the topic “Democratic School – an Alternative School Project”. The presentation was followed by a lively discussion.

The fellowship continued with drinks in the lobby bar of the hotel.
