(Mar 16) Regular Meeting and a Presentation of a Book with a Collection on Bulgarian Folklore Songs (+GAL)

On 16 March 2016 Rotary Club Sofia International held its regular meeting in Hilton Sofia. We had the pleasure to welcome among our guests some of our supporters for the Wine It! event. The President of the club awarded with Certificates of Appreciation Cottage Farm Alino and Lesaffre.

The meeting continued with discussion of the lessons learned form the wine evening held on 11 March in the House of Wine in Sofia. Results from the evening were also announced. Thanks to all the guests and sponsors we managed to collect 3,700 BGN towards our cause.

Later on we had a presentation of the book “Stoyno mi, Maly Mome – Anthology of Songs from Central and Western Bulgaria” by the author Mrs. Tsvetkova. We also enjoyed a mini concert with songs from the book by two talented students of the National School of Music “Lyubomir Pipkov”.

The fellowship continued with discussions and drinks in the lobby  bar of the hotel.
