(Apr 15) RC Sofia International Regular Meeting and a Presentation of Founder Institute (+GAL)

Today RC Sofia International held its regular weekly meeting. A number of members and guests enjoyed the hospitality of our hosts Kempinski Hotel Marinela and had the opportunity to listen to a presentation on the Founder Institute and the initiatives and people it supports. The presentation was held by Mr. Kostadin Kostadinov, one of our members and a Director at the Founder Institute Chapter in Bulgaria.

The president of the club Mrs. Radka Stamenova shared her impressions from the visit of Rotarians from four different clubs in the United States, whom she had the honor to host at her house after a tour organized by Interact Sofia International at Meridian 22 School.

Mrs. Ani Hristova announced that on 21 April the members of the club are invited by the sponsor of our Rotary Blend Temptations Evening, Johnnie Walker to a whisky tasting event in Camino Piano Bar. Since the event is limited in space and the places were filled in an instant, the sponsor will organize a second whisky tasting evening for the members of the club on 28 April.

We also welcomed Mike Halson from the Rotary Club of Bognor Regis in West Sussex in the south of England. He and our President exchanged flags. Our President Elect Mr. Jörg Schenk presented a flag from Rotary Club of Soltau.

The fellowship continued, as usual with drinks in the nearby bar.
