(Apr 10) Operational Meeting of RC Sofia International (+GAL)

Today an operational meeting of Rotary Club Sofia International took place in Arte Hotel. During the meeting an update by the organizational committee for the upcoming Cocktail Night in Kempinski Hotel (May 31, 2013) was presented and decisions of the Board of the club were announced. We also welcomed regular guests of the club.

The meeting was preceded by a Board meeting on which decision about membership, future projects, charity events, joint meetings, and partnership with other clubs were taken.

The Board of the club has decided to proceed further with the applications of two new members was and the 7 day period for objections was announced during the regular meeting that followed. The Board members reached an agreement on the causes to support with the funds collected at the upcoming cocktail night. The annual Slavyanodeyatel initiative was launched and call for nominations will be open soon. A teambuiding for all the 5 clubs in our Rotary family was scheduled for June. Guest speaker events were agreed upon. Our friend, fellow Rotarian and a Board Member Snejana Doncheva will be representing RC Sofia International in Portugal at the Rotary Convention this year.
