(22 March) Regular Meeting, Wine It! Results Announced, Presentation by the Director of IEFSEM (+GAL)

The regular meeting of Rotary Club Sofia International was held at the Hilton Hotel on 22 March 2017.

The meeting was presided over by President Elect Ms. Ani Hristova. A presentation by Assoc. Prof. Petko Hristov, director of Institute of Ethnology and Folklore Studies with Ethnographic Museum (IEFSEM) at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (BAS) and Prof. Albena Georgieva (Deputy Director of IEFSEM) was well received.

The outcome of the Wine It! event was a resounding success and the funds raised surpassed all previous events. The total amount raised at the event was 4,400 BGN. We would like to thank all our kind sponsors and guests of the event. Information on how the money is spent will be published here also.

The board and members ratified the nomination of Dr. Wolf Harlfinger as a new member and he will be inducted on 5 April 2017<

After a lengthy discussion about the forthcoming events and the need for sponsors, the meeting was closed, and members continued the fellowship in the Lobby Lounge.
